Fantine "Tinka"

Fantine aka "Tinka" is a double awarded Premium Mare with both RPSI (51 pts) and ISR(105 pts) . This mare is on loan to us from Matthew Beasley of Connecticut. Tinka was persueing a career in dressage but she decided she would much prefer to be a Hunter because she loves to jump! While Matthew works on dressage, Tinka is producing awesome foals for us like Matthew's up and coming dressage mount, Wristow, out of Fantine by Weltstern (her first foal) who earned an 8.3 movement score at his Inspection.

Fantine’s sire, Fascination, is one of the leading sires of premium foals registered within the United States and has many successful dressage and international “A” hunter progeny. He has sired two approved sons including the top scoring stallion at the 1994 - 100 day stallion test, Flambeau who was successful on the Florida circuit.

Fantine herself has been trained through first level dressage and has competed with scores up to 68%. Her love for the Hunt Ring started when introduced to fences. She has jumped under saddle at 2’ and has been free jumped to 4'. In her debut Hunter show, she was a real head turner, and won her class.
